CLIP ROOM
Getting started
Download the CLIP ROOM application and sign in to create your first project. You can then import and edit your own footage, or let AI generate your videos directly inside the application. Once your edit is finished, all that's left is to export your film!
Import your media
Drag and drop your videos, images and audio files directly into the Media Pool. Proxy and mezzanine versions are generated in the background to keep playback smooth, even in 4K. You can also import your 3D models into full scenes, complete with materials and lighting, to guide your AI generations.
Generate a video/images
From the AI generation panel, describe what you want to get and choose among several image or video models, the resolution and the quality. Add reference images to guide the result, and keep an eye on the credit cost shown before you launch the generation.
AI Element
Create reusable AI Elements — a character, an object, a set — to keep a consistent look from one generation to the next. Once created, an element can be reused as a reference in all your future image and video generations.
Generate an audio
Generate music from a style and lyrics prompt, or generate spoken dialogue with several distinct voices. Generated tracks show up directly in your Library, ready to be dragged onto the timeline.
Edit your image/video on timeline
Edit your clips on a multi-track timeline: cut, move, adjust duration and preview your changes in real time. Every clip can be edited with AI directly from the inspector, without ever leaving your edit.
Timeline Tools
A set of dedicated editing tools — cutting, reordering clips, precise frame-by-frame adjustments — to keep total control over the pacing of your edit.
Tracking
Generate control maps (edges, depth, pose) from your clips to guide your AI generations or make it easier to integrate 3D elements into your scene.
Create/Import your 3D model in a scene
Generate a 3D model with AI or import your own, then place it in a full 3D scene: physical materials (albedo, roughness, transmission, clearcoat...), lighting and a shadow catcher for a realistic render integrated directly into your edit.
Transitions
Add transitions between your clips to smooth out cuts, with precise control over their duration and position on the timeline.
Text
Add titles and text overlays to your edit, with control over font, color and animation, to give your video context or personality.
Precompositions
Group several clips into a precomposition — 2D or 3D — to organize your complex sequences and reuse them as a single clip elsewhere in your project.
Export
Once your edit is done, export your film in the format and resolution of your choice. CLIP ROOM encodes your project — timeline, AI generations and 3D scenes alike — into a single video file ready to be shared or published.
